Transfer tape is the essential finishing step for any vinyl project — picking up your cut design and letting you apply it cleanly and accurately to your surface in one smooth transfer.

At Printra Vinyl, we stock a range of transfer tapes to suit different vinyl types and project needs.

Types available:

  • Clear transfer tape — lets you see exactly where you’re placing your design, ideal for precise positioning
  • Paper application tape — great for larger decals and signage where a firmer hold is needed
  • Heat transfer mask — designed specifically for HTV prints, included with patterned vinyl orders

Tips for best results:

  • Match your transfer tape tack level to your vinyl — low tack for delicate vinyls, standard tack for most adhesive vinyl
  • Use a squeegee or scraper to firmly burnish the tape before lifting
  • Peel slowly at a low angle for a clean transfer
