Ordering custom printed vinyl from Printra is simple:

4. We'll send you a digital colour swatch via email for your approval before we print anything.
5. Once you approve, we'll print and dispatch your order within 48–72 hours.

Colour Accuracy & What to Expect

We take colour accuracy seriously. Our printing process is calibrated to reproduce your specified colour as faithfully as possible on the chosen vinyl substrate. However, it's worth noting that printed colours can vary slightly depending on the material finish - gloss substrates tend to appear slightly more saturated, while matte finishes can appear a touch softer. Our digital swatch approval process is designed to give you a realistic preview before committing to print.

For the most accurate results, we recommend providing a CMYK value rather than RGB or HEX, as CMYK is the native colour space for print production.

Important Notes

• Production time is 48–72 hours from swatch approval to collection or shipping.
• This vinyl is printed on one side only - it is not a double-sided printed colour vinyl.
• We do not print solid black (#000000) or white (#FFFFFF). For these colours, we recommend purchasing from our Avery Gloss or Matte vinyl range for the best results.
• Your order will not be printed until colour swatch approval is received - please check your email promptly after ordering.

Cutting & Application Tips

Getting the best results from your custom printed vinyl is easy when you follow a few simple steps:

• Cutting: Use a sharp blade and run a test cut before committing to your full design. Our vinyl cuts cleanly on most leading cutting machines including Cricut & Silhouette.
• Weeding: The printed surface is smooth and consistent, making weeding straightforward. Use a weeding tool for intricate designs and work in good lighting.
• Application: Clean your surface thoroughly before applying. Use transfer tape to position your design accurately, then smooth from the centre outward to avoid bubbles. For permanent vinyl, apply firm pressure and allow 24 hours before exposing to water or cleaning products.
• Storage: Store unused vinyl rolled (not folded) in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain adhesive quality and colour vibrancy.
